I started this site to publish the kind of SEO writing I wished existed when I was learning: deep enough to be genuinely useful, without the padding most SEO content is built on.

Most SEO advice is either outdated best-practice folklore or a thin rewrite of someone else's thin rewrite. I try to write and work differently — every recommendation on this site is tied to something I've actually tested or observed directly with a client site, not repeated because it's what everyone else says.
That shows up in how I work too: I focus on durable structural fixes over quick wins that decay, I explain technical concepts in plain language instead of hiding behind jargon, and I stay personally involved in every engagement rather than handing it off to a junior team once the contract is signed.
